BCS hold Workshop on Cyber Security at BIAM
Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), an organization of technology professionals, is training sector bankers and sector stakeholders in cyber security. BCS General Secretary Abdur Rahman Khan Jihad inaugurated the two-day training workshop at BIAM Auditorium in the capital on Friday.
Among others, Bangladesh Computer Samity Vice-President (Academic) Professor Dr. Muhammad Nurul Huda, Joint General Secretary (Administration) Fahad Zaman Chowdhury and Treasurer Dr. Muhammad Ziaul Islam were present.
A total of 45 trainees participated in the workshop. Today they are taught corporate IT security governance, strategy and risk management; On Cyber Attack Damage Management and Cloud Computing Security. Conducted cyber drills and quizzes as well.
The paid workshop on Saturday will teach network and mobile security, cyber security for financial services institutions and Security Operations Center (SOC).
Abdur Rahman Khan Jihad, General Secretary of the society, said that there is no alternative to training in the formation of Smart Bangladesh and the society will organize such training in the future. This event will end tomorrow at 5 pm with the distribution of certificates. The certificate will be handed over by the president BCS Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sharif Uddin.
